More Information Pool Safety You will find that the swimming pool at Proteus is fantastic fun and an excellent way to cool off during those long Cyprus days and we are sure that you, your family and friends will spend many lots of time in the pool. We do however want you all to be safe and a few simple precautions will ensure that you are!!!!

• Children and non-swimmers should not be left alone in the pool, even for a very short time. They should be supervised at all times by a competent swimmer.
• Ensure that children and non-swimmers wear approved flotation aids at all time when in and around the pool.
• Diving head first into the pool can be dangerous, enter the pool by the ladder or from a sitting position on the side.
• Avoid using the pool after consuming alcohol or if feeling unwell.

On your arrival We will ensure that the Villa keys are there for you to start enjoying you holiday. In Proteus, you will find a welcome pack with complementary wine, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread and bottled water. Should you have any special requirements, don't hesitate to contact us. Flights Paphos airport is a short 15 minute drive from Pissouri and there are numerous taxis at the airport for your transfer. Larnaca is around 70 minutes by car from the Village. A number of airlines fly routes to both airports from all over the UK. Generally, the earlier that you book the better but we have found some fantastic deals by late booking. In the past, we have used Helios Airways (at www.flyhelios.com and telephone 0870 750 2750) and Excel Airways (at www.xl.com and telephone 0870 169 0 169) and found both to offer excellent service. In terms of travel agents, you will find many on line with search facilities so that you can find the best deal. We tend to use A1 Travel at www.a1travel.com and telephone 0800 298 5167. We prefer A1 because the search engine the use allows much more flexible searching, from one or more (or even all) UK airports for several days either side of your preferred travel dates. Because of this, prices are more competitive, especially if you are prepared to use any one of several UK airports.
